The Treatment.

The video will include an autumn setting with lots of leaves on the ground and grey skies, the artist cycling down country lanes surrounded by fields. a light breeze showing moment in the trees an leaves off the ground, the artist in auburn colours to reflect the season. This music video will be unique and a great concept of the lyrics in the song. The artist is introduced cycling across a field pathway in the distance. The video will consist of multiple close-ups and long distance shots involving the protagonist character (the artist) alone and then slowly introducing the male character, following the lyrics ‘I forget that I need you.’ The video will have similar concepts to ‘Mumford and Sons – Winter Winds’. We will use the fields and autumn archways near where we live, and inside Finbarr’s house will be the setting where the performance element of the video will be shot. Our target audience are the age of 11 – 22. we have looked at lots of videos that are aimed around this age category and we have concluded that our idea will fit with that age group.

  1. Your location shots show a sure sense of mise-en-scene which is really reflected in your reference to'Mumford and Sons - Winter Winds'. This video is quite lovely in the way it intercuts between tent live performance, audience appreciation and then to the band caught in a wind of seed? chaff? from the field. You need to paragraph your treatment clearly. In the first paragraphy you need to develop the concept of autumn, why, link to lyrics and how you are going to use Mumford's video as inspiration.

Then in second paragraph you need to describe more clearly the way you are going to feature band, use the forest and cut between performance and other storyline.

    Audience needs work after research.
